a. Parents seeking admission to NPS Whitefield are requested to fill the registration form and submit the completed form online. Please do not leave any field empty, as incomplete forms will not be accepted. Parents are also required to submit the documents as mentioned in the registration form.

b. Students are required to take a Student Proficiency Assessment (SPA) which will be based on the syllabus as follows:

• SPA scheduled from September to March will cover entire syllabus of the previous academic year and first term syllabus of the current academic year
• SPA scheduled for April/May, will cover entire syllabus of the previous academic year and current academic year

• A meeting with the parents and the students will take place before the final result for admission is announced.
• For Nursery, KG 1 and KG 2, there is no Proficiency Assessment.

Pre-primary at NTS NPS Whitefield, follows the Kindergarten method of teaching, for the Early Learners. Children learn through fun-filled and engaging activities which involve music and movement, art and craft and several hands-on activities.

The important skills that are focused during their early learning years are Listening, Speaking, Reading, Writing, Communication, Social and Thinking skills. The structured Library Reading Program develops reading skills and makes them confident young readers. The curriculum is planned keeping in mind all the Multiple Intelligences, Integrating Technology, Cooperative Learning structures and Differentiated Instructions to make it child centric.

Yes, the school has Parent Communication systems which includes the almanac, an online parent portal- NPS Connect and the ‘Friday Folder’ posted every ‘Friday’ on NPS Connect. NTS NPS Whitefield hosts a state-of-the-art secured internet-based portal NPS Connect that also allows parents to easily keep track of their children’s progress in school.

This service provides parents with up-to-date information to ensure that parents stay better informed about their children’s activities. NTS NPS Whitefield values parental involvement and this is an additional system NTS NPS Whitefield uses to create a stronger relationship between parents and our school community.
